Currently – September 2017, President.  Duties include creating and delivering on-site and virtual customized technical training and consulting, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), GD&T, Material Review Board (MRB), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and Project Management.  Mr. Lewis also is a volunteer member of the DoD Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative.

Additional LM Program and Project Management Experience on Specific Manufacturing Programs:

2008-2007 Millennium Gun (MG) Fire Control System (FCS) development. Led a distributed, virtual IPT to develop and manufacture a gun FCS that integrated an Electro-Optic Director (EOD), a Gun Weapon System (GWS) and COMBATSS-21 CMS.

2008-2007 Ammunition Lethality Improvement Development. This included development of warhead intercepts and penetration concepts.

2006-2004 Weapons System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB) qualification for MG and 35mm AHEAD ammunition. Conducted and compiled safety-related tests that were presented to the USN.

2004 Flight Deck Installation of MG- Developed and manufactured a flight deck mounting concept resulting in a patent.

2002-2001 Fleet Battle Experiment-Juliet – A USN-sponsored war games event where MG was field-tested at sea.

1999-1998 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Manufacturing Project Manager – Led a Lockheed Martin IPT to produce the lower, aft fuselage section of the X-35 JSF aircraft that contained the Tailhook assembly, using electron-beam welding.

1999-1998 Joint Strike Fighter Subcontract Manufacturing Project Manager – Searched out local and eastern US metal manufacturing vendors and managed the build-to-print manufacturing work for over 100 different pieces of the X-35.

1997-1993 NASA Space Flight Hardware - Manufacturing Project Engineer/Manager, managed production of NASA space flight hardware in support of Space Lab’s Combustion Module (CM) experiment.
